Drew Weir

Managing Director

Following a successful military career as a British Army Officer, Drew quickly established himself as a senior executive in the corporate arena in 2004. He has significant corporate experience across a spectrum of industry sectors, including risk management, oil and gas, transport and logistics, and aviation.

Career highlights include establishing the 16,000-strong Iraqi Oil Protection Force  OPF) in Iraq (2004-05) as the COO of Erinys Iraq; managing and directing the full evacuation of all Shell dependents from the Niger Delta as Head of Emergency Response for Royal Dutch Shell (2006-09); and the delivery of the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics as Head of Terminal 5, London Heathrow (2011-12). Since 2012, Drew has specialized in program management, delivering and/or consulting on diverse projects in the aviation, oil and gas, telecommunications, automotive, renewable energy and security sectors.

Drew joined as Group CEO of Arvium in May 2019 and also assumed the responsibility as interim Managing Director of Erinys Iraq. He has a BA (Hons) in History from Bristol University and a MSc in Logistics Management from Cranfield University.

Kyoung Won Yoon

Commercial Director

Kyoung is responsible for the commercial health of Erinys Iraq Limited, including business development, contracts management, as well as all proposals and quotations.

Prior to joining Erinys in 2012, Kyoung managed the Global Coal and Freight Derivatives Trading Desk for Standard Chartered Bank as its Energy Trader and has previously worked as a business risk management consultant.

Having spent 30 years of his life in the Middle East, Kyoung has a good understanding of business cultures in developed and developing world economies and business portfolio management.

Kyoung served as an intelligence officer in the Republic of Korea Army and holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Korea University with a post-graduate certificate in Shipping Risk Management and Advanced Freight Modelling and Trading from Cass Business School.

Murtaja Abdul Latif Sabri Al Dulaini

Country Deputy Director

Murtaja is the Senior Iraqi representative of the management team who is responsible for the management of all Iraqi national workforce within Erinys, as well as all governmental matters, with an emphasis on compliance with local requirements.

Murtaja started working with Erinys in 2003 and has built an extensive and influential network of contacts within various government ministries through the years. His far-reaching connections at all levels and departments within the Government framework is highly respected both within Erinys and the industry.

Murtaja holds a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Baghdad.

Mark Gregson

Regional Director – North/South Iraq

Mark is an experienced and highly motivated Security professional. He comes from a military background having served 26 years in the British Army dealing with operations and logistics worldwide. He has built his commercial experience working in various locations within Iraq with Erinys since 2014.

During his time with Erinys, he has held various positions within the company, Operations Manager, Equipment Manager, Country Operations Manager, which has gained him a plethora of knowledge to assume his current role.

He holds a City and Guilds Graduateship (GCGI) senior award in Leadership and Management and is currently studying to further his HSE qualifications.

Paul Brewitt

Regional Director – North Iraq

Paul is an experienced security professional, with 9 years of commercial experience working in Iraq. He has a military background having served 8 years’ as a Royal Marines Commando, serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. Paul has managed several high-profile client projects such as PetroChina, Lukoil, Petronas & the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.

He has diverse experience ranging from ground operations, to project management working on large scale projects in the oil & gas sector. He possesses a high level of business acumen and took the lead to initiate a successful commercial training business unit, which has grown from strength to strength. Paul is now the Regional Director for Northern Iraq, overseeing several projects and business units.

He continuously strives to improve himself both personally and professionally, he holds a Professional Certificate in Management in addition to a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration from the Open University.

Cobus Erasmus

Regional Director – South Iraq

Cobus is the Regional Director – South Iraq, overseeing all projects and business units in the South of Iraq.

Cobus is an experienced Security Manager, highly motivated and self-driven with commercial experience working in Iraq with Erinys since 2009. He has a Police background having served 21 years’ as a Senior Police Officer in the South African Police Service.

Cobus previously held the position of Erinys Country Operations Manager responsible for a broad range of operational matters as well as a myriad of other functions associated with quality control and service delivery, supporting the Erinys client base across all projects.  

He holds a B Tech Degree in Policing from UNISA, an Operations Management Certificate with the University of Cape Town, and completed Risk and Advanced Security Management Courses with Stonebridge College UK.

Sydné Rossouw

Business Support Manager

With over a decade of experience in managing employee workforces, Sydné offers a unique blend of leadership and knowledge and has brought many positive changes to Erinys Iraq Limited. She first served as the HR and Administration Manager of Erinys since 2016.  Her reorganization of the HR data system has streamlined the hiring and reassignment process which has led to a great boost in employee morale and a user-friendly interactive system for all employees in the company.

Sydné possesses strong business acumen, resources and leadership talents, and over 14 years of commercial experience in Iraq and Afghanistan. She has a Police background, having served over 10 years in the South African Police Service which assisted her with an easy and effortless transition to the Commercial Sector.

She holds Professional Certificates in US Government and Commercial Contracting from Villa Nova University and Lead Auditor Certificate in Integrated Management Systems from Exemplar Global. She is also a registered Highfield training tutor, assisting with our training programs.
